Description

Production lead time: 2–14 days, subject to 100% prepayment of the order.

Basalt wool with foil facing (basalt cylinders).

Facing layer: aluminium foil.

Operating temperature: from −180 to +350°C.

Thermal conductivity: 0.039–0.045 W/m·K.

Possible insulation facings: fibreglass, glass fabric, foil, foil-insulation, and others.

Metallic band, wire, or plastic clamp is used to join the shell halves.

Applications: thermal insulation of district heating pipelines and domestic hot water supply pipes; insulation of steam pipelines using multi-layer composite systems; thermal insulation of low-temperature pipelines; insulation of air ducts and chimneys; insulation of main heating networks; insulation of underground and above-ground pipelines.

Basalt wool pipe insulation (basalt cylinders) — cylinders of various diameters and thicknesses made from basalt fibre with a density of 75 kg/m³. The material has high thermal insulation properties and performance characteristics. Used on concealed and exposed sections of utility networks for insulating pipelines, tanks and reservoirs, steam pipes, chimneys, and heat exchangers with a heat-carrier temperature of up to +350°C — suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Features:

  • Low cost of thermal insulation.
  • Fast installation on pipe surface.
  • Reduces heat energy losses by 3–4 times compared to other materials.
  • Completely environmentally clean material.
  • Non-combustible material.
  • Low weight does not overload engineering structures.
  • Stable insulation layer thickness due to higher density compared to standard glass wool.
  • Protects the heat carrier from freezing and heating systems from heat losses.
  • Protects engineering equipment from damage, aggressive environments, and premature wear.
  • Provides hydro-, vapour-, and sound insulation for utility networks.
  • Maintains temperature in workplaces and living spaces.
  • Prevents unexpected contact risks from thermal or cooling equipment and pipelines.
